British Standard Sprockets
SprocketsNZ manufacture and import a vast range of British standard sprockets and roller chains ranging from 05B (5/16" pitch) through to 40B (2 1/2" pitch).
With over 10,000 simplex, duplex and triplex sprockets on the shelf we are able to meet most requirements. Outside of this our fully equipped machine shop have the capabilities to produce sprockets larger or smaller if your application requries them and with an office team combined experience of 100 years plus we are sure we can come up with a solution.
The majority of our sprockets are manufactured from a 1045 grade steel material with induction hardened teeth. This allows for a longer life expectancy in the fast pace environment they work in.
Along with 1045 steel sprockets we carry a wide range of 304 stainless steel sprockets on the shelf, these are perfect for any design that come in contact with not only food but salt water or chemicals. Stainless steel sprockets and stainless steel roller chains prevent the common problem of rust in wet environments etc.
Taper lock sprockets have become a common substitute for a standard bore and key sprocket. We have kept up with the industry changes and carry a range of taper lock sprockets on the shelf along with cast or steel taper lock bushes ranging from 1008-10mm bore through to 5050-125mm bore. Once again if we don't have these on the shelf our machine shop can custom machine to suit your requirements.
Above are a range of pilot bored sprocket specifications sheets.
If you are after something odd ball please do not hesitate to get in touch.
